GMB Learning Bus Coming To A Town Near You
The GMB Learning Bus is once again out and about across the region during Adult Learner Week. The ReachOut team has been working with a number of GMB ULRs, providers, employers and other unions across the region in putting together a diary of events to take learning out on the road.
Matt Bowe GMB ReachOut project worker and coordinator for the bus said:
"The bus continues to be a great resource in helping to highlight the advantages of adult learning and demonstrates to employers the benefits it can bring to their workforce. It gives ULRs the opportunity to showcase their hard work by promoting their various projects and campaigns as well as spreading the word to areas which may not ordinarily have access to learning resources. Once again 2010 is proving to be a busy year for the Bus with many more dates pencilled in the diary."
The Bus will be visiting different parts of the region over the next couple of weeks so feel free to jump on board and speak to your local ULR or one of the ReachOut team. You never know you may even get a brew!
If you would like any further information about the planned visits or would be interested in booking the bus for your own event then contact Matt Bowe on 0161 848 9173.
